Avda. Antonio Alzaga Ping-Pong Tournament

Today I went to Barakaldo right after the last exam finished (yay!) to buy some Christmas gift with my classmates. We were looking all around to find something we wanted to, but didn't find anything interesting, especially me. Actually I found some nice candles and drip mat sets which is made of stone and is decorated with African paintings, it was perfect to send my mother. She loves collecting candles and drip mat sets. Everytime I see those things they remind me my mother. However, as I got a plenty of doubt of Spanish EMS system I decided not to buy them... if I had sent them today, would be arrived next summer or at least when Spring comes. What a pity!

Anyway, When I was in a Sports Shop, I found this.
Mine is color red, anyway, you can install this anywhere you want. On the table, on the desk, even on the door if you're able to play on it. Its size looks small enough but it isn't, that's good enough to play inside our house. So I bought it to give it as a gift to my roommates who will stay at home spending whole holidays just two of them, poor guys without any special plan nor girlfriend for Christmas.

According to my plan, I should have waited until I leave to Germany, but I couldn't! So I told them that I got a gift for them, of course they looked so happy as I had expected.

This is the Portable Ping-Pong Set.

The Net stretches up to 75 inches.

We installed it on the kitchen table.

Boris and Che were ready to play it!

At the final of tournament, Che won all of us.. even though he was the worst player ever. I couldn't believe that I lost the game, I used to play table tennis when I was middle-school girl, and I'd never lost the game. I still can't accept this result! When he won me, he called me "the Looser of Ping-Pong". It's the most humiliating day of my life. How was it possible that I was called looser especially by Che, who is the king of the kings of looser I've ever known... and he even said me that I was the worst player he'd ever seen. Again, it's the most humiliating day of my life. Damn!

It was worth enough to have bought it. We enjoyed it a lot.. even we made Che to be proud all evening calling us Loo-ser. Maybe I'll make an attempt on his life to remove the memory of my shameful play.

Since tomorrow I won't get any exam owing to the fact that I've passed all the exams before, besides we get a FIESTA! Will be a joyful day with our friends, I hope. Then 2 days later I'll be in Germany in the house of my german twin sister. I can't wait for it!

I'm going to bed early, if I don't, I'll be late tomorrow for the FIESTA!

F-I-E-STA!
Love it!

Atlético Madrid vs Deportivo

I love football, especially I love 'La Liga'. That's one of the reasons why I choose Spain.. (In fact, I compared a lot Milan and Bilbao because AC Milan is my favourite team... However, it was too complicated to apply for a Visa so as to study in Milan, and I didn't get enough time for that.) Anyway, as F.C Barcelona is my second favourite team I tried to go there until I didn't find any interested school in the city (besides the living cost in Barcelona is more expensive than the other cities in Spain).

Anyway, I'm watching the match between At.Madrid vs Deportivo. Forlan is struggling so far but At.Madrid has got two goal thanks to Kun.

And Deportivo's already got three yellow cards, the referee tends to abuse those cards... I think. By the way,  the team which is interesting for me in this match is At.Madrid. I found some information about its players, I just knew some famous players like Kun, Forlan, Simao, Tiago and De Gea.

Now At.Madrid ranks sixth on the list (of course the first is Barca!), following Valencia. After the scoring two goals of Kun, the match has got no progress and I suppose At.Madrid gonna win. Now Forlan's just retired and has entered Fran Merida. I've got to focus on the match, it's just finishing up.

Tomorrow I'll start to study again due to the fact that I'll get another exams from Tuesday to Christmas vacation, unless I don't have anything special to do. What the hell kind of life have I got here?! Since my first exam I've been studying without getting enough rest... I told my friends about my recent life and NO ONE believed that I worked so hard like a grinder. That's funny because at the class everyone is sure of that I'm an exemplary student.. Life changes ridiculously, when I was a university student in Korea I was one of the most famous bastards in the department of Foreign Study. It wasn't needed any explanation to prove what I was and what I did. But it was the greatest moment for me although I wasn't aware of it at the moment.

The match is over. I'm going to watch a movie then going to bed. In these days I'm addicted to Zombie movies! If the Zombie Attack actually happened I would like to be the first one. I don't want to beg my life in the living hell running away in order not to be a lunch or dinner of someone. Or, it would be better being Zombie Hunter. What am I talking about? Maybe I've watched too many movies.

Okay, it's time to get into the Zombie world!

Good night!

Korean dinner and....

I got a long holiday from Saturday until yesterday, and also had finished the exams so I got enough time to rest up. On Friday, we had Korean dinner with two of my classmates, my roommates and I were worried about little bit if they didn't like the spicy food but they did! I prepared some Broccoli Egg Roll and Buchimgae (looks like Mexican tortilla but with vegetables), and Boris cooked Bulgogi with red pepper sauce. Of course Che, as he doesn't cook well he prepared drinks and took miscellaneous work, for example cleaning up the kitchen (we have dinning room on one side of kitchen) and hallway, and setting the table.

He even brought the Protocol book which we are studying at class to set up the table in order. It was funny, because we'd never set up like this before. In Korea we have a different way.

This is the most traditional way. We basically have Rice with some soup and various side dishes. Then put a spoon and chopsticks on the right side of the soup.

Anyway, I didn't take pics of plates, I was so busy... but Rakel did. (Thank you pretty!)

The plate to the left on this pic is Buchimgae, the red one is Bulgogi, and the right thing is Broccoli Egg roll. They looked good, and were delicious! Boris's Bulgogi was bit spice not only for the girls but also for me, however, we finished it.

Maybe you don't see well those plates, so I put some pics of them in general.

This is Bulgogi with Soy bean sauce, I prefer it than Red pepper sauce owing to my sensitive stomach.

This is the one with Red pepper sauce. Looks nice, doesn't it?

This is Buchimgae. If you are used to the Japanese culture, you must have heard Okonomiyaki. This is Korean version Okonomiyaki. I like both of them bur if I have to select one of them, of course I'll choose Buchimgae. :p

And this is Egg Roll. It looks easy to cook but doesn't. You need skills to roll it, because it breaks easily. Everytime I cook it I fail in seven or eight cases out of ten and just stir it to make scrambled eggs. That's one of the ways how to pretend to succeed.

By the way, since yesterday has been created a boom of fried chiken in South Korea, (despite of the menace of North Korea. War is war, and Fried chicken is fried chicken... you can't deny it..) a Supermarket chain has launched cheap and big menu for 5.000 won (about 3.5 euros) as their main item. It's called Fried Chicken Revolution among the young people, because if you ordered a set menu in a general restaurant they'll charge you about 12 euros. So, I spent all evening reading article and news, thinking "I'd rather I was in Korea".

I've even dreamed of it when I fell asleep while I was watching a movie...
Tomorrow I should buy a chicken to make this even if nobody's sure I can do that. If I mess it up, I'll pretend to cook some other plate in order not to be looked like I've failed.

It's time to go to bed, and tomorrow is already FRIDAY! Yay!

Have a good night!

No title

I got a sad news today.
When I was buying pasta at Simply I got a phone call from Korea. It was my mom. It wasn't the time that she used to call me before so I felt uneasy, and my feeling was right. She told me my grandma died yesterday. But the truth is, she wasn't my biological grandmather, was the mother of my 'new' dad. I've never met her in my life, I don't even know her name. Nevertheless I was so sad as I love my dad so much, I'd loved his mother too although I didn't know her well. I couldn't even imagine how my dad would be grived for her death.

For all that it was too shocked to say something, when she asked me if everything was okay here, I answered "Yes." There was anything that I could say to comfort her. After finished the call, I stood for a while in the aisle between pasta and chicken soup, and concentrated myself not to cry. But I couldn't. I was weeping until Che found me, and when he asked me if I was okay, I answered again "Yes." But I wasn't.

I haven't called dad yet, I know it's bad but I don't know what I should tell him and how. I don't want to land him in difficulties, if I call him now he will be an awkward situation. What can I do now? I'm in Spain which is 16 hours far away from Korea. I wish I was able to find the answer...

Please, if you are reading my post, pray a scond for her.
